I am transfering the site domain to a new registrar. The domain is up for renewal next month and the current registrar wants $45 to renew the domain for 2 years. I can take that same amount of money, pay for the transfer, AND pay for another 4 years on the domain on the new registrar. The registrar I am moving to comes highly recommended by some people I know that have, and still use it.
When the domain is actually tranfered to the new registrar the domain will go down for a period of time. It could be as little as a couple hours, or upto a day or 2. This amount of time depends on when your ISP updates their DNS databases. When the site goes down and www.teenbabynet.org doesn't work, you will still be able to access the site by going to http://18.104.22.168/teenbabynet.org. There may be some functions on the site that won't work correctly using the server IP, but it shouldn't take very long for the domain to be updated, so please be patient.
